REPORT FROM WHATSAPP DISCUSSION

Yesterday the 05 Jan 2017 started the formal discussion and lecture for the year 2017 on the whatsapp platform. The topic SOCIAL MEDIA AND IT'S NEXUS was introductory discussed giving divers definitions to social media.

“Social media are computer-mediated technologies that allow the creating and sharing of information, ideas, career interests and other forms of expression via
virtual communities and networks".

Today the discussion continued on the same topic SOCIAL MEDIA AND IT'S NEXUS. Coined from the definition concluded on social media, it's nexus to lives especially on youth growth was mentioned.

A bit of its nexus on education was practically mentioned, some of which are;
1. Low Assimilation
2. Bad Character
3. Academic failure
4. Wrong technological usage
5. It damage brain cells

These and many more are the negative influences of social media on youth development. May I bring to your notice that social vices in our society has technologically been misused.

Therefore the evening session on the whatsapp platform concluded that our youths are in serious mess if not timely controlled in our society.

Do what you can do and preach the right usage of social media in your corner.
