TASUED ALUMNI ASSOCIATION ON COURTESY VISIT TO THE VICE CHANCELLOR

The National Executives Council of the Alumni Association of Tasued, led by her National President, Comrade Oyekanmi Abdullahi, paid a courtesy visit to the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Abayomi Arigbabu, in celebration of his One Year in office. The visit is predicated on the need to commend the Vice Chancellor for his outstanding performances on policy drives, resource management and his posturing administrative prowess which have all metamorphosed into the astronomical development of the University in many facets.

The meeting observed the infrastructural renewal, administrative restructuring and staff capacity building schemes which recently earned the University NUC approval to run close to 32 Postgraduates programmes and to award degrees in B.Sc., B.A, M.sc , MA, and Ph.D conversely from previous restrictions alongside other existing awards which confers Bsc.(Ed), B.A (Ed), B.Ed, M.Sc (Ed), M.A (Ed) and M.Ed.

In his remarks, the Vice Chancellor expressed appreciation for the timely visit, noting that he like other succeeding Vice -Chancellors are always proud of the indelible achievement of the Alumni association and her progressive partnership with the University over the years. 

The Vice- Chancellor assured that the University management would continue to ensure cordial relationship and create enabling environment for the Alumni and her members, to crystalize individual progress and corporate advancement of the association. Many important policies of the University and that of  the Alumni were critically reviewed and evaluated, while positive conclusions were also reached on approaches to foster relationship with the University management.
